My thoughts, my life: April 2008

Alright, I'm back from TW! After 6 days of flu, indigestion (haven't PS for these 6 days), and exercising of climbing up the mountains, I'm finally back! Even though I wrote like my TW trip is more of torturing myself but actually it's pretty fun and an eye opening for me.

I went to Taipei and it's already very huge, let alone TW....the drivers there..walau eh, crazy like shit! They have no traffic police I think, and the ppl there are more of jaywalkers! Wahaha! I think most of the bus drivers can go for Initial D 2....so pro drifting feel! Our main purpose of gg to Taipei is to see and view the beautiful sceneries there and not so much on shopping...so we had the chance to climb the mountains, walked up the stairs, see the waterfalls, the night sceneries and the day view from 101 building...cool!

And u think TW now is getting warm? No way! It's freezing cold! It's like u on the super high quality air con plus the electronic fans together...and let the wind blows u til u got urself a free new hairstyle! Okok, let's start from Day 1:

Day 1

We reached Changi Airport around 11:15am (forgot the exact timing) and we checked in very mafan, need to take out our passport so many times..sian lor...but first time taking plane very excited...haha...although jetstar ar..very uncomfortable to slp but we didn't slp lah..cos we're excited to take pics in the air plane, can see the clouds! so nice! When we reached TPE airport around 1800...it was a complete contrast to Singapore Changi Airport! Nothing much to take pics there...not nice de..haha! Sorry ar!

We checked in at the Flowers Hotel and our room is ok lah, not bad, no eerie feeling. After we put our stuffs, we decided to go ximenting, which is not far away from our hotel. Ximenting is nice, alot of ppl too! Abit like Bugis street cum Orchard Rd..haha! They sell alot of stuffs but we all were window shopping and didn't buy any clothings there. It was dinner time and we went in to a restaurant (can't find the exact word to describe so make it high class abit) to eat. The food tasted weird, but edible to me. After tht, we went back to our hotel to slp lor..haha...not much plans on first day cos it's already evening by the time we reached there.

Day 2

Morning woke up at around 645am and we prepared to go makan our breakfast at around 8am in the hotel's cafe which is called Dante's cafe...although the food variety is small, only 3 set meals for us to choose, I find the breakfast not bad, pretty tasty to my taste bud..

Day2 is the complimentary tour (though I think they already secretly added the tour fees in our package, cunning ppl) given by the tour agency...first stop is to the 自由广场. Only go there take take pics, not much to say...I already got flu on the second day..sian..very sick also..second stop is to 忠烈司 (the last word "司" I can't find correct one so used this word) , go there see the soldiers marching ceremony, also nothing to say...third stop to the 故宮博物館, go there cannot take pics inside, so not much pics..we're there to see the ornaments of the donno which dynasty. The outside scenery is nice though.

Fourth stop is to the 天祿 place...just there to see ur name characters, how many strokes ur name characters have to determine if ur life is good or not...I donno why our tour got this place (kinda feel tht we cannot trust the ppl there totally, got this gut feeling tht the tour agency and this 天祿 place collaborated to wanna 唆使us to buy there 天祿. Anyway, I believe in myself and fate, so I didn't buy anything frm them. Fifth stop to 九份, go there buy some food from the 阿信 shop which the tour guide person 小翁 has a share in the profits so ask us to help her buy some, we all 賞臉so buy some..even though she gave us discount, I still feel very ex lor...see I say tht the tour agency gave me a feel of wanting to cheat our money..haha! Our last stop is to go to the place where they sell the 鳳梨酥 and 綠荳糕, also under 小翁's recommendation..(I'm feeling fishy here) and it's damn ex, so I can only buy for my family...sorry frenz!

By right still got go hot spring one at 北投but cos have to strip naked and cannot wear a single clothing nor using a towel to wrap up urself, so nobody goes and so it's cancelled.. -.-

After this whole complimentary trip ended, we went to take our first mrt trip in TPE to 劍潭 there go up the ferris wheel and see the beautiful night scenery! It was the second largest in the world, Singapore's the first...tht's wad the tour guide says. Since shilin market is also in tht area, we went to shilin night market to makan..alot of food there! But we didn't ate much only smell the food like 望梅止渴 u noe? But we did ate some of the well known food there...

After tht we take cab back to hotel..tht cab driver is a son of a bitch and a bastard asshole who in the first place noes tht we're gg to hotel and tht we're not the natives, gonna cheat our money by routing here and there and when we said tht it's not our fault for the extra route he took, he suddenly like a mad dog argued wif us...HS asked us to get down the cab fast and don want to argue much...by right we should scold him and I should have spitted at him or scolded him cos he called us 王八蛋! WTF? He's an asshole! but I lost my voice due to stupid flu and couldn't say a single word...damn..should've slammed the door hard till it's broken! Hope all of his tyres are burst and the repair fees is damn ex...god curse him!

Day 3

We went to Ye liu to view the mountains and the seas...Ye liu is a nice place to go, u can get to breathe the sea air, it's diff from the normal air we breathe (maybe partly becos of the smell of the fishes...) It's famous for its sea view and the queen shaped stone (I donno the exact name)..we climbed all the way up the mountain (got path of course) and we reached one pavilion to see the beautiful ocean! The wind up there was so strong and cool tht u feel like u're walking slanted all the time, had the feeling of being blown away...cos it's so cool tht I didn't realise I've got sun burnt..ouch! We skipped our lunch and we went to 淡水there to see the lovers' bridge..and tasted the 阿給, wonder why it got it named this way...not bad also, edible.

Since it's turning dark, we went to buy tickets (Walau, there are two ticketing stalls and they're competing for customers, it's scary cos the moment u step in, u can hear the aunties scream) and board the ship to 淡水老街. There's nothing much to say here, just like normal streets selling stuffs, and we ated some snacks there. Jas and HS had their portrait drawn...I didn't get myself drawn cos I find tht artist only wanna time his speed and not so much on quality....

Day 4

We went to 烏來 the 內洞 national forest trail to see the waterfall...it was damn sian tht it rained so heavily and tht our shoes are damn wet..mine worst, my socks are soggy..yucks! But we managed to see the damn splendid waterfall! We also climbed up the very dangerous hill wif slippery stairs just wanna explore wad's gg up the hills. but cos it keeps on raining and it's really damn dangerous (if u slip and fall..u can forget abt seeing me again..maybe good to some ppl who hate me? lol) so we abort the mission and went back to the streets by taking cab again (It's impossible to walk back cos it's so far away and time is precious) we went for a indoor hot spring which we found at the 溫泉區, I very bad to use their hair dryers to blow my socks dry..it took me a damn long period of time to make it dryer a bit, not totally dry though..smelly socks!

Day 5

We went to 陽明山there, again to "climb" up the mountains..haha! It's good to go there for ppl who wanna breathe some fresh air and relieve stress..the weather is cool, very refreshing! I get to see withered Sakura there..haha! At least I get to see it though it's already withered. I saw a small cute squirrel too! And the garden of flowers are nice! It's very pretty and I love breathing the air there...we wanna go to 竹子林one but we didn't noe tht it's tht far! And we walked for more than 3KM plus climbing up the stairs...I think after the walk, I need some physio therapy...we didn't continue our walk to the 竹子林 cos we're all exhausted and it already took us almost half the day. We decided to take bus back to the mrt station and went to 五分鋪 there to buy cheap clothes...I dare not buy alot cos scared of using up all my money..I bought 2 pieces of tops each for my family and I only got myself a pair of jeans, one vest and one normal pasamalam T shirtand some accessories....and our powerful legs continued to let us shop til 11pm + which was totalled like more than 5hrs! We had the latest sleeping time tht day.

Day 6 (last day)

We checked out of the hotel cos we had to b4 11am, so we checked out early in the morning and had our luggages placed safely there...our plan is to go Taipei 101 building there to view the top scenery view of TW. We could have been there last night but cos we're bz shopping, we pushed forward to the last day..wad a pity cos I think night view is better and tht morning, the weather ain't tht good, abit hazy and as a result, couldn't see the whole view. Visitors can only go to 89 and 91 floor to view.. 89 is windowed and 91 is open space but then I think 89 is where we can view the most cos 91 got the jail bars surrounding plus got 2 guards (really feel like in jail) cannot view much...had to tip toe to see the scenery..stupid bars! It's freezing cold outside..really..even colder than air con 18 degrees celsius.

After this, we went back to TPE station, the TW storyland to see the past of TW..haha...alot of 70s stuffsand tht's where my camera goes low batt...though I've taken quite alot of the pics already..we went back to the hotel just in time to board the tour agency bus back to the airport and reached Singapore around 11pm...sian lor the jetstar hard to slp...I think I slept much better when boarding the buses in TPE.

Home sweet home!
Today woke up break record at 1230pm!!! Really damn tired and I immediatedly ate my brunch though my mum came back home to cook lunch for me too...I finally get to shit today but my tummy still bloated..I missed Bernice's news so much tht I get online not long after I woke up..haha...miss everyone too!

Ok, today actually alot of things happened...firstly is the collection of my Acer laptop...pretty excited and I wanna install the Adobe Photoshop CS3 which I've bought last time on my new laptop. But because I'm applying half day leave today to go airport, I won't be bringing tht 2.4KG piece of thing there.

Haha...today I applied a last min half day leave to go airport actually is to see Bernice! Haha..I think I say wrongly to Jasmine...I mean I meet my fren, Shu Yi, to go 接機 but I didn't mention abt Bernice...think Jas, u are thinking tht I 接 my fren? Or I misinterpreted ur question? Anyway, it's not very impt lah..haha..Jason accompanied me to go star chasing...we reached there abt 14.50pm and it's at T1. Her flight arrival is 15.02pm.

We waited for a very long time and the baggages were not out yet and it's almost 45min past. I initially very excited one but then maybe it's the long waiting time tht when Bernice came out, I don feel very excited at all..but she's really very nice to the fans..super nice! Like a normal fan, friendly and abit "motherly" haha! She stopped to help us sign the photos and the cds, and also took photos wif us...I'm so happy to see her! I was like "can I take a photo..." haven't finish my sentence and she immediately turned to me and let me take one pic of her frm the front..so good!

She patiently signed the photos and the cds tht we've brought(I only got photos)...wahaha! I really really love today so much!!!! Get to meet Bernice leh...not in my life would I ever think tht I would get to meet her!
